Administrative Observations—Adjunct faculty will be observed by their department chair, college administrator or full-time faculty member at least once during their first year of teaching at the college or teaching in a new department and then as deemed appropriate by the department chair or Academic Dean or as requested by the adjunct faculty member. A summary of the evaluation will be prepared and will be shared with the faculty member and reported to the Academic Dean along with the observer’s recommendations. Student Course Evaluations—Student course evaluations will be administered at the end of each course. The College uses an online system to conduct student ratings of courses, allowing for more timely feedback to the faculty, department chairs and deans. Students should be encouraged to complete their evaluations.
