How do I get a library card?

Answer

If you are a student, your student ID acts as your library card. Your library card number is on the back of your card.  It's actually your student ID number with a prefix number, 2649000

So your library card number might look like this:  26490009081111

You can use this number to renew library materials online or to request materials from other libraries in the Minerva Online Catalog.

If you don’t have a student ID, see Enrollment Services to get one.

If you are a resident of York County and at least 16 years of age, just bring in a drivers license or other photo ID and we will have you fill out a short form to issue you a community library card.
