What happens if I return my library materials late? Will there be an overdue fee?

The YCCC Library encourages you to bring back your library materials on time, but we do not charge overdue fees. You will receive automated reminders in your email to return late materials. If you forget to bring material back for too long, your library account will be automatically frozen until you return the materials. That means no check-outs and no Patron Requesting of materials from other libraries.
You must return all checked out material by the end of each semester or risk having a Hold placed on your student account. This will prevent you from registering for classes, getting your grades, or receiving official transcripts.
Remember: we don't mind if you keep material for as long as you need it. Simply renew it in person, by phone at 207-626-9282 ext. 5303, or online through My Library Account.
